Arcelia has been in the chocolate industry for 17 years and has traveled to 34 countries to discover, teach, and learn hocolate making, use, and techniques. From boutiques in Paris to Maya villages, chocolate and cacao is her expertise. Before becoming a chocolate maker she was a chocolatier in Berkeley, California. She sold her store and relocated to Brazil to live closer to cacao producers and to teach chocolate making. Between 2017 and 2019 her chocolate has been awarded 26 items! Making Mission Chocolate the most awarded brand in Brazil. Arcelia is also the President of the Bean to Bar Association in Brazil and judge for the Seattle Chocolate Awards.
